Emeritus Professor Jeff Hughes

Co-inventor of PainChek (ASX Listed), AI enable medical devices in the form of mobile applications for the assessment of pain in people with moderate to severe dementia and infants. PainChek Adult is now in use in aged care homes in Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Canada. Jeff has expertise in pharmacotherapy and clinical trials, having worked in hospital, community and aged care pharmacy, and academia. He has published over 300 professional and research papers, contributed to 37 books and received research funds in excess of $15M in research grants as a lead or co-investigator.  He is experienced in preparing international regulatory submissions for medical devices.
