FAQs

Common questions

What is coronary artery disease?

Narrowing of the arteries that supply the heart, caused by plaque. It can lead to chest pain, heart attack or sudden death.

How does the vest detect it?

Acoustic sensors capture heart sounds. Machine learning detects the subtle changes caused by narrowed arteries.

Is it safe?

Yes. Non-invasive, no radiation, no electrical energy applied to the patient.

Is training required?

Minimal. The vest is simple to fit and the Control Unit shows the result. The result is a screening indication to support referral for further assessment, not a diagnosis.

What happens if the vest indicates possible disease?

The person is referred to a doctor for further tests. The vest is a screening tool and does not make a diagnosis.

Can I buy one?

Not yet. The vest is investigational and not approved for sale. Hospitals interested in pilots can contact us.
